No other time than now

“These are the times in which a genius would wish to live. It is not in the still calm of life, or the repose of a pacific station, that great characters are formed. The habits of a vigorous mind are formed in contending with difficulties. Great necessities call out great virtues. When a mind is raised, and animated by scenes that engage the heart, then those qualities which would otherwise lay dormant, wake into life and form the character of the hero and the statesman.”
- Abigail Adams, 1778

Imagine having this perspective in our life right now, in the midst of the economic turmoil? What clarity would it bring to our action?

"Do not fear the winds of adversity. Remember: a kite rises against the wind, rather than with it!"
- BJ Marshall

What we are experiencing right now, whether severe or moderate, is building a heart in us for the future. It does however require a concerted focus to be in the present. Our ego's are stuck in the past reliving the would haves, could haves, should haves.

What's done is done. It's about the now.
